2016 Christmas Rock music recorded in a Phuket recording studio Thailand

A brand new 2016 Xmas rock n roll tune has been written, created and then studio recorded in a Phuket recording studios in Thailand by songwriter ‘Mark Hopkins’ with the main aim of bringing attention and exposure for the Phuket island charity and Orphanage that Mark supports. You can listen and read more by going to the Tsunami Day web site .

The songs name is: I’m coming home for Christmas and the tracks style is a special up-tempo rock n roll song. Mark wrote and partially studio recorded a demo song guide of ‘I’m coming home for Christmas’ in 2015 on Phuket and has kept the demo song since then looking forward to the opportunity to record once again. In August 2016 Mark began the recording process and used session musicians to record the song over a six week period. The track consists of 8 separate tracks and all session players were from the Philippines, including the female lead artist ‘Micah Javier’.
Although I’m coming home for Christmas was recorded on Phuket island the mixing and mastering was made in the United States as a result of Mark wanted the best outcome and quality. The music is now ready to be listened to and downloaded by going to the ‘Tsunami Day’ site.
The main aim of studio recording I’m coming home for Christmas is to bring as many people to the Tsunami Day web site as we are able to and then hopefully in-turn they’ll be kind enough to contribute to one or any of the Phuket charities, and to also buy the track.
The other absolute goal is to have enough downloads of the music to fund and create a Phuket live music club with open stage and studio / training room on Phuket, that’ll offer free classes and tuition to local underprivileged kids from the neighborhood colleges and orphanages. Currently ‘La QingTing’ isn’t open yet but the web site is below. (QingTing means: Dragon Fly in Chinese if you’re wondering).
About: Mark set-up the Tsunami Day web site to advertise his tune Tsunami Day which was inspired from his own particular experiences while he was living in Patong in 2004 once the Tsunami devistated Patong on boxing day. Just like ‘I’m Coming Home For Christmas’the track Tsunami Day also brought awareness to regional Phuket Charities and children’s Orphanages. On the ‘Tsunami Day’ web site there’s numerous ways to help including a Phuket Villa and cheap flight booking to Phuket booking system. Every penny helps.
Credits: Mark would like to credit his sponsors: Michael Dietvorst (CEO of Oriental Living), Stuart Baker (GM of Food Hygiene Asia), Alan Cooke ( MBE ), Adam Goodman (GM of Two Chefs Restaurants) and Cassius Rolfe-Johnson (CEO of Phuket Home Services).
