2016 Xmas Rock n Roll music recorded in a Phuket recording studio Thailand

A new 2016 Xmas rock n roll tune has been written, composed and then recorded in a Phuket recording studio in Thailand by songwriter ‘Mark Hopkins’ with the key purpose of getting awareness and exposure for the Phuket island charity and children’s Orphanages that Mark supports. You can listen and read more by going to the Tsunami Day, Phuket web site .

The tunes title is: I’m coming home for Christmas and the songs is a special up-tempo rock n roll song. Mark wrote and semi recorded a demo music guide of ‘I’m coming home for Christmas’ in late 2015 on Phuket island and has kept the demo song since then awaiting the opportunity to record once again. In late August 2016 Mark started the studio recording process and used session players to studio record the tune over a 6 week period. The track contains 8 separate tracks and all session musicians were from the Philippines, including the lead vocalist ‘Micah Javier’.
Even though I’m coming home for Christmas was recorded on Phuket island the mixing and mastering was done in the United States as a result of Mark needed the very best outcome and quality. The music ready to be listened to and downloaded by going to the ‘Tsunami Day’ site.
The main aim of studio recording I’m coming home for Xmas is to bring as many people to the Tsunami Day web site as we can and then hopefully in-turn they’ll be good enough to give to one or all the Phuket island charities, and to also buy the track.
The other primary goal is to have enough downloads of the music to help fund and create a Phuket live music bar with open stage and recording studio / training room on Phuket, which will present free instructions and tuition to local underprivileged children from the neighborhood schools and orphanages. To date ‘La QingTing’ isn’t currently open right now but the internet site is below. (QingTing means: Dragon Fly in Chinese if you are wondering).
About: Mark set-up the Tsunami Day web site to market his track Tsunami Day which was inspired from his own personal experiences while he was working in Patong in 2004 once the Tsunami hit Patong on boxing day. Much like ‘I’m Coming Home For Xmas’the song Tsunami Day also brought awareness to regional Phuket Charities and children’s Orphanages. On the ‘Tsunami Day’ web site there’s numerous ways to help including a Thailand Villa and budget flights to Thailand booking system. Every penny helps.
