2016 Xmas Rock n Roll song recorded in a Phuket recording studio Thailand

A brand new 2016 Xmas rock track has been written, created and then studio recorded in a Phuket recording studios in Thailand by songwriter ‘Mark Hopkins’ with the main aim of getting awareness and exposure for the Phuket island charities and children’s Orphanages that Mark supports. You can listen and read more by going to the Tsunami Day, Phuket site .

The songs title is: I’m coming home for Christmas and the songs is a unique up-tempo rock/rock-pop song. Mark wrote and partially recorded a demo music guide of ‘I’m coming home for Christmas’ in 2015 on Phuket and has kept the demo guide since then awaiting the possibility to record once again. In August 2016 Mark began the recording process and used local session players to record the song durring a 6 week period. The track consists of 8 differant tracks and all session musicians were from the Philippines, including the female lead vocalist ‘Micah Javier’.
Even though I’m coming home for Christmas was recorded on Phuket the mixing and mastering was made in the United States due to Mark needed the most effective result and quality. The music is currently ready to be listened to and downloaded by visiting the ‘Tsunami Day’ web site.
The main aim of recording I’m coming home for Xmas is to bring as many people to the Tsunami Day site as possible and then we hope in-turn they will be kind enough to help to one or any of the Phuket charities, and to also download the track.
One other absolute goal is to have enough downloads of the song to help fund and set up a Phuket live music bar with open stage and recording studio / teaching room on Phuket, that will present free classes and tuition to local underprivileged children from the area’s colleges and children’s orphanages. Up to now ‘La QingTing’ is not open yet but the internet site is below. (QingTing means: Dragon Fly in Chinese if you’re wondering).
About: Mark set-up the Tsunami Day web site to promote his song Tsunami Day that was influenced from his own particular experiences while he was living in Patong back in 2004 when the Tsunami devistated Patong on boxing day. Much like ‘I’m Coming Home For Xmas’the song Tsunami Day also brought awareness to local Phuket Charities and children’s Orphanages. On the ‘Tsunami Day’ web site there is numerous ways to greatly help including a Phuket Resort and budget flight booking to Thailand booking system. Every penny helps.
