2016 Xmas Rock-POP music recorded in a Phuket recording studio Thailand

A brand new 2016 Xmas rock n roll tune has been written, created and then recorded in a Phuket recording studios in Thailand by songwriter ‘Mark Hopkins’ with the main aim of getting awareness and exposure for the Phuket charity and Orphanage that Mark supports. You can listen and read more by going to the Tsunami Day web site .

The tunes name is: I’m coming home for Christmas and the tracks sound is a special up-tempo rock n roll song. Mark wrote and partially studio recorded a demo song guide of ‘I’m coming home for Christmas’ in 2015 on Phuket and has kept the demo song since then waiting for the chance to record once again. In late August 2016 Mark started the studio recording process and used session players to record the song over a six week period. The track contains 8 separate tracks and all session players were from the Philippines, including the lead singer ‘Micah Javier’.
Even though I’m coming home for Christmas was studio recorded on Phuket the mixing and mastering was done in the United States because of Mark needed the most effective outcome and quality. The music is now ready to be heard and downloaded by visiting the ‘Tsunami Day’ Website.
The key aim of studio recording I’m coming home for Christmas is to bring as many people to the Tsunami Day web site as possible and then ideally in-turn they will be good enough to donate to 1 or all of the Phuket charities, and to also buy the track.
One other primary goal is to be able enough downloads of the song to help fund and setup a Phuket live music cafe with open stage and recording studio / training room on Phuket, that will provide free lessons and tuition to local underprivileged children from the local colleges and orphanages. Up to now ‘La QingTing’ isn’t open yet but the website is below. (QingTing means: Dragon Fly in Chinese if you’re wondering).
About: Mark set-up the Tsunami Day web site to market his track Tsunami Day that was inspired from his own personal experiences while he was living in Patong in 2004 once the Tsunami hit Patong on boxing day. As with ‘I’m Coming Home For Christmas’the song Tsunami Day also brought awareness to local Phuket Charities and children’s Orphanages. On the ‘Tsunami Day’ web site there’s numerous ways to help including a Thailand Hotel and budget flight booking to Phuket booking system. Every dime helps.
