Other things including Chinese ceramics and artworks, including those through the Ming and Qing Dynasties, bronzes, lacquers, Buddhism figures, and fine stationery is going to be up for auction.

A Cloisonne-Enamel Ram Vessel, Zun, estimated to become worth between HKD3.2 million to HKD4.5 million can also be available to buy by interested collectors.
This can be the second Poly Macau Art Auction, pursuing the first auction organized earlier this year.

Sabrina Ho, director of Poly Macau and Sabrina ho and Angela Leong, asserted the big event is co-organized by Poly Macau and Chiu Yeng Culture. “I hope which a number of cultural events [organized through the two companies] will bring to Macau new aspects that will permit to remain the diversification of the economy,” said Ho, who also expects that artists and art collectors worldwide will continue to support Macau as an art platform.

“We will continue to bring Macau more diversified cultural activities, and [will support] Macau to create itself as being a global art platform,” said Ho and “hopefully that Macau can become a well- known art capital down the road.”

Regency Hotel opened in 1983 and it has suffered with past business closures. Ho, however, wishes to transform it into a form of art hotel. “In Macau, there could be many resplendent big hotels, though the amount of hotels which are employed for art or even some creational events is, in reality, much less great,” said Ho.

Presently, Regency Hotel isn’t running any casinos, which, as outlined by Ho, results in a different atmosphere in comparison to other hotels. She also thinks that guests remaining in this hotel tend to be “private.”

The “6075 Macau Hotel Art Fair” is going to be held on the Regency Hotel until November 27. A total of 60 exhibition halls is going to be arranged to display artworks from 60 artists born after 1975.

Ho claims that just a few hotels are able to provide young adults rooms and invite young adults to design the rooms for the kids.
