How weddings have changed in the decades! From the handful to 400-500 invited guests; one-two to six-eight bridal party members; a simple wedding car to expensive and big wedding cars; three course meals to course meals; 1 to 3 live bands; simple attire to colorful and flamboyant dresses, suits and attire and off-the-cuff to well-prepared wedding speeches.
These are aforementioned, wedding speeches continue to be an important part of being married and guests do anticipate hearing them, discussing them before, during and indeed after they’ve been delivered.
We have all heard of wedding speeches delivered before the meal, in the meal after your food, however it is of the strong opinion that this wedding speeches needs to be delivered following the meal. I understand that for several wedding ceremony speakers i.e. Father of the Bride Speech, Father in the Groom Speech, Bride Speech, Groom Speech and Bestman Speech (5 main speakers), they’d would rather contain the wedding speeches prior to the meal, for them to enjoy their meal (many of them are paying for it!). However, all is here the invited guests and just how most of them (and even wedding ceremony venue staff) would like the wedding speeches to become delivered following your meal for most reasons, some of which include:
The invited guests have already been fed and watered and are not playing wedding speeches before eating anything (at least of food, which may be so prior to the meal, though weddings today do provide light snacks upon arrival in the wedding venue)
Food could be cooked and served with the agreed time (introduce wedding ceremony speeches prior to meal as well as their is actually a delay of Quarter-hour one.5 hours, driving the kitchen staff crazy trying to keep food freshly cooked, presentable and edible)
The wedding ceremony speeches become the transition from your meal on the dancing (with nothing happening as soon as the meal, individuals are expecting ‘a few words’ to get shared concerning the Bride & Groom after which it they know they could wake up, move, take a rest, go for a walk, see a bar…)
It’s a challenge for moms and dads with the Bride & Groom to communicate in in public areas, since most of them couldn’t survive used than it. So, they might, whenever they so wished, speak ahead of the / their meal.
There should nevertheless be some type of formal wedding speech(es) following the meal…
