I thought about penning this post on band promotion because I have often heard new bands and struggling musicians wishing they were given more paying gigs. Of course, that could be determined by you and the reasons why you are in a band to start with.

Some bands want to play; love playing; believe playing and having their music around is the foremost compensation there is… as well as the return of the investment in effort, time and money is possiblity to stand up there and PLAY.
