A fresh 2016 Christmas rock-POP song has been written, composed and then studio recorded in a Phuket recording studio in Thailand by songwriter ‘Mark Hopkins’ with the key aim of bringing awareness and exposure for the Phuket island charity and Orphanage that Mark supports. You can listen and read more by going to the Tsunami Day web site .

The songs name is: I’m coming home for Christmas and the songs sound is a unique up-tempo rock/rock-pop track. Mark wrote and partially studio recorded a demo music guide of ‘I’m coming home for Christmas’ in 2015 on Phuket island and has kept the demo song since then waiting for the possibility to record once again. In August 2016 Mark began the recording process and used local session players to record the track durring a 6 week period. The track consists of 8 differant tracks and all session players were from the Philippines, including the female lead artist ‘Micah Javier’.
Even though I’m coming home for Christmas was recorded on Phuket the mixing and mastering was done in the USA due to Mark wanted the most effective result and quality. The song ready to be listened to and downloaded by going to the ‘Tsunami Day’ site.
The main goal of studio recording I’m coming home for Christmas is to bring as many folks to the Tsunami Day website as possible and then ideally in-turn they will be good enough to help to 1 or all the Phuket charities, and to also download the song.
One other primary goal is to have enough downloads of the music to help fund and set up a Phuket live music club with open stage and studio / teaching room on Phuket, that’ll offer free lessons and tuition to local underprivileged children from the area’s schools and orphanages. Up to now ‘La QingTing’ is not open right now but the web site is below. (QingTing means: Dragon Fly in Chinese if you are wondering).
About: Mark set-up the Tsunami Day web site to market his music Tsunami Day that was inspired from his own personal experiences while he was residing in Patong back in 2004 once the Tsunami devistated Patong on boxing day. Just like ‘I’m Coming Home For Xmas’the track Tsunami Day also brought awareness to regional Phuket Charities and . On the ‘Tsunami Day’ web site there is numerous ways to greatly help including a Phuket island Villa and budget flights to Phuket booking system. Every cent helps.
