Stitch bond nonwoven fabric is made from the plastic containers (PET), processed into recycled loose fiber (staple ), these loose or staple fibres are made of “plastic“ (PET) cool drink bottles they are further broken into :
sprite green staple fibres
stoney beige staple fibres
coke or clear white staple fibres
Then it is, converted to a recycled polyester nonwoven fabric called stitch bond fabric by using top quality polyester filament yarn or thread. The intertwining from the thread and loose fibre is actually a stitching process or stitching technology. This stitch bond fabric is 100 % local. Stitch bond nonwoven fabric is created by stitching polyester staple fibers and polyester filament threads together, glue might be added to alter the physical appearance to form the finished products. These stitch bond non-woven fabrics can be found in different widths and weights, with regards to the clients requirements.
